“Regulations on the use of public facilities and equipment may not duplicate statutory rules” – an article by our lawyers in “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”

“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” in its “Samorząd i Administracja” (Local government and administration) supplement (No. 174/2021) published an article by Aneta Fornalik, barrister, and Angelika Borowiak, trainee attorney-at-law, entitled “Regulations on the use of public facilities and equipment may not duplicate statutory rules”.

The article concerns, among others, mistakes in the content of regulations. Municipalities are obliged to adopt the rules of using playgrounds, sports facilities, or municipal swimming pools. Unfortunately, because of the laconic character of legal provisions and decisions of supervision bodies, their elaboration is sometimes not an easy task.

The publication is based on the extensive professional experience of the Authors of the article, gained while providing legal advice to local government units.
