Success before the Court of Appeal in Poznań in a dispute against the Social Insurance Institution

The Law Firm, representing one of the Communes of the Poznań District, is currently involved in numerous court disputes with the Social Insurance Institution. On 17 February 2021, the Court of Appeal in Poznań issued the first final judgment in one of them, in which it shared the position presented by the Law Firm, dismissing the appeal of the Social Insurance Institution.

In the dispute in question, the commune represented by the Law Firm was the organiser of summer and winter activities for children and young people. The organised entertainment activities, i.e. outings to a swimming pool, to the cinema or organisation of sports games, were aimed at ensuring that children spent their time actively during summer and winter holidays.
