On 16-18 May 2019, the 44th General Meeting of Wielkopolska Association of Health Care Institutions – Employers’ Organization was held. The Meeting was attended by the directors of health care institutions from the Wielkopolska Province, the managers of the most important organizational units of these institutions and legal advisers providing legal services to health service organisational units.
The sessions of the Meeting were divided into two parts. In the first part of the meeting, the internal organizational matters of the Wielkopolska Association of Health Care Institutions – Employers’ Organization were discussed. In the second part – training – representatives of our Law Firm, i.e. legal adviser Jacek Słupczyński, Director of the Information Security Department, and legal adviser Magdalena Cieślińska-Dopierała from the Medical Law and Healthcare Entities Service Department presented the issue of cyber security in connection with the entry into force of the Act of 5 July 2018 on the National Cyber Security System (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1560). Our speakers, discussing the regulations contained in the aforementioned Act, indicated, in particular, the obligations and tasks that may be imposed on directors of healthcare facilities, if a decision is taken to classify a given healthcare facility as a key service provider.
