In cooperation with Musiał, Sowisło & Topolewski Audit Services Sp. z o.o. we have obtained for our Client a subsidy from Financial Shield 2.0 of the Polish Development Fund in the amount of over half a million PLN.
Financial Shield 2.0 PFR is a programme aimed at providing financial assistance to companies from 54 industries which had to limit or suspend their operations due to the epidemiological situation connected with COVID-19.
Under this programme, worth PLN 13 billion, micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs can receive a non-refundable financial subsidy (after fulfilling conditions specified in the regulations).
The aid granted to micro-enterprises is intended to cover costs connected with their economic activity, for example, employee remuneration costs, costs of purchasing goods and materials, costs of external services, current costs of external financing, costs of leasing real estate used for the purposes of conducting business, costs of all public and legal dues, costs of purchasing equipment and other fixed assets necessary for conducting business.
The SME subsidy, on the other hand, may be used to finance 70% of fixed costs, which for the purposes of the programme are understood in practice to mean, as determined on the basis of accounting documents, the actual gross loss made in November and December 2020 and the projected gross loss in the first quarter of 2021 (excluding provisions for asset impairment and taking into account public assistance received from other sources).
The funding received under this scheme is often the only chance of survival for companies that are unable to operate at full capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions.
