On 24 January 2022, a conference “3rd Data Protection Day” was held in Warsaw, organised by the quarterly “ABI EXPERT”. The conference was attended by some of the best experts in the field of personal data protection.
During the conference, topics discussed included personal data processing in IT systems, social media, issues connected with the processing of personal and non-personal data in artificial intelligence systems, problems associated with the transfer of personal data outside the EEA, and issues concerning the application of personal data protection regulations in the context of the introduction of the whistleblower institution.
The conference was attended by the director of the Information Security Department of our Law Firm, attorney-at-law Jacek Słupczyński.
The event provided an opportunity to exchange views on current issues and problems in the application of data protection legislation.
The information obtained during the “3rd Data Protection Day” will certainly be used by the specialists at the Information Security Department as part of the comprehensive information security services they provide to many private and public entities across the country.
