“Difficult liability of medical universities for financial losses of university hospitals” – article by attorney-at-law Jacek Sobczak in “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”

On 25 February 2021, “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” published an article by attorney Jacek Sobczak entitled “Difficult liability of medical universities for financial losses of university hospitals”, dealing with the issue of liability of medical universities for the negative financial result of teaching hospitals.

A motion to the Constitutional Tribunal for ruling that the provision of Article 59 section 2 of the Act on Medical Activity is unconstitutional was filed by the Regional Court in Warsaw in connection with the proceedings for determining that the Warsaw Medical University is not obliged to cover the loss of the University Clinical Centre. Jacek Sobczak, attorney-at-law, and Natalia Rakocy, attorney-at-law, appeared in the case.
