The national daily newspaper “Rzeczpospolita”, considered to be the most opinion-forming medium in Poland, on 5 August 2020, published in its online edition an article by attorney-at-law Urszula Nowaczyk entitled “Latest changes in the criminal liability of medical personnel”.
The article focuses on the changes in the provisions of the Penal Code, initiated by the government’s bill amending the Penal Code and Certain Other Acts of 14 May 2019. The proposed amendment to the provisions leads to a tightening of the criminal liability of doctors for so-called “medical errors”.
