A favourable ruling for our client – bringing an 8-year-long dispute to a close

On 14 April 2026, the Supreme Administrative Court in Warsaw handed down another favourable ruling for our client – the developer of the Stobnica Castle project – and definitively brought to a close an eight-year dispute over a 2015 decision by the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Poznań, which set out the conditions for carrying out the works. In the proceedings, which had already been reopened, the Supreme Administrative Court dismissed the cassation appeal lodged by the General Director for Environmental Protection, concurring with the position previously expressed by the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw and by a different panel of the Supreme Administrative Court in the judgment of 26 March 2024, which had already been handed down in this case.

The rulings handed down by the administrative courts in the case of Stobnica Castle have unequivocally and definitively confirmed the validity of all investment decisions.
